The Valders Lions Club is looking for donations and volunteers to help with the new community youth fitness park. We are in the process of raising money and planning. We look forward to hearing any ideas from the community on how we can make this project a success.

Phase #1 The goal $15,000 Current status $15000
Will be the removal of the existing obsolete equipment and installing ADA compliant kids equipment. The installation will be a community based project.

Summer 2008
A day in the park and phase #1 is complete.

Thanks to everyone who participated.

Phase#2 Is installation of shelter and bathroom facilities. We will also be renovating the basketball court.

Phase #3 Entails additional playground equipment, completion of the fitness trail, and any ideas from the community to help improve this park.
