Village Parks
There are two village parks. Shelters, ball diamonds, tennis courts, playground and picnic facilities are located at are located at the Valders Memorial Park. Melody Lane Mini Park has playground and picnic facilities.

Community Center
The Valders Community Center located at 420 N. Liberty Street, is utilized by all of our service organization for meetings and events. It also is host to our Senior Citizen as a nutrition site sponsored by the Aging Resource Center of Manitowoc County. The Community Center is available to rent any time of the year for family reunions, graduation, anniversary, birthday parties etc. The fees to rent the facility is $50 for residents, and $100 for non-residents, with a $100 refundable deposit. Please contact the Village Office 920-775-4522 for reservations.

Valders School Library
Located within the high school, the public is welcome to use the facility and its resources during scheduled hours. Please call 775-4505.

Valdes Swimming Pool
Located within the high school, and is open to the public for swimming lessons, water aerobics, open swim and available for rental. Please call the Community Services office for more information 775-9505.

Valders Post Office
Located at 505 Christel Drive, phone 775-4343. Jerry Roberts is the Post Master and the lobby is open 7:30AM-5PM M-F and 7:30AM-2:00PM on Sat.

Wisconsin Public Service
WPS provides natural gas & electric service in the Village. Please call 800-450-7260 for customer service or visit their website at www.wpsc.wpsr.com.

Garbage Collection
Garbage collection is provided by the Village at no additional charge. Your pickup day is Tuesday and must be at the curbside by 7:00 AM. It may be placed in bags only between the hours of 3AM - 7AM on Tuesdays, unless it is placed in a sealed hard plastic or metal garbage container . These requirements are to prevent scavenging by animals. Notice will be given in the Valders Journal in advance of any change of schedule due to holidays.

Recycling
The Village Recycling Center is located at 409 West Wilson Street. The center accepts, paper, cardboard, tin, glass, metal, aluminum and 1 & 2 plastics. The center is open on Wednesdays from 4PM-6PM and Saturdays from
8AM - NOON. Notice will be given in the Valders Journal in advance of any change of schedule due to holidays. There are separate brush piles for grass clippings and tree trimmings located adjacent to the recycling center.  No scavenging of any materials from the recycling center is allowed per signs posted at the center. All electronic items are banned from landfills & must be properly disposed of in the proper bin at the center effective 9/1/2010 by State law.

Cable Service
Time Warner Cable provides cable service for the Valders area. The Village has a shared community channel with the Village of St. Nazianz which is channel 4 to keep you informed of community events and broadcasts school functions and other events.
